Preventative
and Predictive Maintenance
The
preventative and predictive maintenance program we offer has evolved over
25 years of designing, building and servicing pumping systems. It subscribes
to the time proven practice of establishing a thorough system of checks
and performance tests to minimize unforeseen outages while maximizing
system performance.
Our
technicians have a wealth of training and experience in the construction
and operation of a variety of pump stations and can provide an effective
maintenance service regardless of the systems manufacturer. We check various
components for their current condition as well as trends in equipment
wear. This highly successful program enables our service personnel to
accurately forecast eminent failures thus providing the necessary information
for management to make proper decisions regarding the scheduling and cost
of the repair.
Three
levels of services are available, "Platinum, Gold and Silver". The "Platinum"
service is the premier of the line. It employs all the skills and techniques
needed to provide trouble free operation by combining standard maintenance
routine with periodic component disassembly and inspection. The "Gold"
service contains many of the same checks as the "Platinum" but does not
include the detailed component disassembly. Lastly the "Silver" service
is more diagnostic in nature intended for customers requiring a high service
frequency at a minimal cost.
The
preventative and predictive maintenance program you choose should be a
function of the system's age, wear, budget and the participation of your
in house staff. Proper predictive techniques require at least four checks
per year. Any combination of the Platinum, Gold or Silver services can
be scheduled to fulfill your maintenance needs. Feel free to consult with
one of our service engineers to custom design a program around your system
requirements.
Emergency
Troubleshooting and Repair
Our
staff of thirteen, factory trained, technicians, mechanics and engineers,
located strategically throughout Florida, are on call 24 hours a day to
quickly resolve any emergency situation. Each technician is pump station
certified through Flowtronex PSI and is a member of the Flownet organization.
Two
service centers, Sarasota and Port St. Lucie, are fully equipped machine
shops. Both locations offer total pump, motor, valve and control repairs.
With a complete stock of replacement parts, most repairs can be accomplished
in a matter of hours. In addition, our growing inventory of refurbished
pumps, motors and valves allows us to provide loaner equipment, thus eliminating
system down time while your equipment is undergoing repairs.
We
maintain a fleet of service and boom trucks, each stocked with over $20,000
in spare parts and tools. As such, most field repairs can be undertaken
and completed on a first time basis without the need to order and wait
for replacement parts.
Retrofits
and Upgrades
Pumping
systems suffering from a lack of efficiency or reliability can usually
be upgraded to include state of the art motor controls, safeties and pressure
regulating devices. This practice can provide a significant cost savings
over purchasing a new system and can result in a substantial extension
of the pumping system's life and your investment dollar.
Our
engineers, technicians, electricians and mechanics can design and fabricate
upgrades to fit your system needs and budget. In virtually all cases,
our standard pump station upgrade utilizing VFD control results in lower
power bills, fewer line breaks, less maintenance and better pressure control.
Replacement
and Spare Parts
We
stock over 4,000 different items as replacement or repair parts, exclusively
for pumping systems. This large inventory investment is intended to provide
immediate availability on any component. A phoned or faxed part order,
received by 4:00 p.m. can be shipped the same day.
System
Installation, Startup and Training
As
a state certified general contractor, we specialize in the design and
construction of pump station facilities from the intake structure to the
pump building. Our team of engineers and tradesmen can facilitate a turnkey
package on all pump station installation requirements.
Being
well versed in the nuances of every pump station operation, our technicians
can perform startup and tuning services on all new and old pumping systems.
In addition, our technicians and engineers are capable of performing operator
training and owners manual composition. This training service can be provided
either on site or in a classroom environment.
Underwater
Inspection and Fabrication
Pump
station intake structures, comprised of suction pipes, foot valves, intake
screens and flume all require periodic inspection and cleaning. Our diving
crew can perform this service on a routine or on-call basis. Complete
video inspection, wet well vacuuming, algae and bryazon removal and screen
cleaning is available.
In
the event repairs are needed, on any aspect of the intake structure, our
crew is well equipped to perform underwater cutting and welding, pipe
sealing, screen fabrication and mechanical repairs.
